Weekend Retreat Experience
Immerse yourself in clay for this entire weekend experience under the exclusive guidance of
Potter Extraordinaire - Belinda Paton.
If you have always wanted to learn pottery without the stress of firing and glazing your own work too then this weekend experience is for you. Apart from being spoilt with delectable food and a lovely ambient atmosphere and surrounds, you will learn a vast array of techniques, tips and tricks and create some beautiful special ceramic pieces that you will treasure and be proud to show off.
You will start the weekend with a cocktail and clay evening on the Friday night to loosen up and unwind, generally have some fun and get the feel of working with clay. A sumptuous dinner will proceed after this to tantalize your taste buds and then relaxing in the spa or by the outdoor firepit to watch the sunset.
Saturday we will immerse ourselves in the Mugs, Jugs and Lemon Squeezers Workshop and also have a go on the wheel for those who want to. Another gorgeous feast will be catered for you with bubbles at happy hour and relaxing in the spa or just taking a peaceful breath outside by the firepit and watching the stars.
Most of our produce is organically and lovingly grown on the property in our extensive vege gardens.
On Sunday we will be relaxing into our Sacred Shrines and Temples Workshop, creating our special pieces and choosing embellishments to add to them after they have been fired. After lunch we will finish any pieces that we need to and admire our work, choosing which colours we want them to be glazed in.
All of the pieces that you have created over the weekend will be fired twice, glazed in your chosen colours and couriered to you at home. The Sacred Shrines and Temples will have a link to a video on our website with the instructions and techniques on how to finish them at home.

All meals are included in the package as well as 2 nights twin share accommodation in our magical lodge.

Arriving from 3pm on Friday and finishing at 3pm on Sunday.
If you would like to stay an extra night to just relax and unwind please let us know as this can be arranged.
A shuttle to and from Palmerston North airport can also be arranged for you.
